Today’s wedding inspiration shoot abounds with fall shades and wild florals that have that organic ‘just picked’ look, whilst still being utterly perfect. It has all the relaxed charm of a boho wedding, with a hint of vintage glamour and a nod to the oh-so-cool mid-century and I absolutely love it!
This was a labor of love, put together by a group of ‘friendors’ who truly enjoy making wedding magic. Here’s a few words about the shoot from photographer Kaitlin Powell…. “Our inspiration behind this shoot was to show love and nature combined in their truest form. Love is the root of everything. Like all things that grow in nature, love starts small and blossoms into something beautiful with care. True love is colorful and sometimes unruly in shape – it leads us to paths we may not think to exist.
Colorful flowers and gorgeous scenery provided the backdrop to for our real life couple Jenna and Matteo, who met in Italy when Jenna was abroad and eloped. We wanted to play up the greenery in nature by using greens in Jenna’s dress to make it look like nature was growing around her. Jenna and Matteo were the perfect couple – showcasing that love can be found all over the world. The way he was speaking to her in Italian all day made us swoon!”
The inspiration for the “Be in my eyes, be in my heart” sign came from The Lumineers song Flowers in Your Hair.
Isn’t it fabulous?? Like nothing I have ever seen before, and such lovely colors! A huge thankyou to all the wonderful wedding pros and creatives who came together to create this vision of fall loveliness, but especially to Kaitlin Powell who captured it all so beautifully.
